How to Withdraw Your Assets from Rujira

On Rujira, you are always in control of your assets (self-custody). Whether you choose to keep them in your THORChain address on the platform to explore more products or prefer to withdraw them to your address on the source chain, the decision is entirely yours. If you decide to withdraw, we have created a step-by-step guide with a video tutorial to help you through the process easily.

The steps:

1. Go to rujira.network
2. Connect your Keplr (or other supported) wallet using the button in the top right corner
3. Navigate to Portfolio, click on the address overview, and select your Rujira address(it starts with tc)
4. Search for the asset you want to withdraw. In this case I want to withdraw BTC, so click on the three dots on the right side, and select “Withdraw”
5. Choose the amount you want to withdraw and enter the destination address where you would like to receive the funds
6. Review the transaction details. Make sure you have enough funds to cover the withdrawal fees. You will need:
   1) 0.02 RUNE, plus
   2) The BTC gas fee shown at the bottom of the withdrawal screen
7. Press Confirm and sign the transaction in your wallet. Because we are withdrawing via the Bitcoin network, your withdrawal may take up to 10 minutes to arrive.
8. After a few minutes, go to the address overview and select your Bitcoin address. Your BTC should now be visible.

⚡️ Understanding Fees on THORChain and Rujira

Because THORChain, the network Rujira is built on, is cross-chain by design, it involves a variety of fees.

At launch, the gas fee for using products built on Rujira will be set to zero as an experiment. This means you can use Rujira apps without paying any gas.
