Last week was our London meet-up, and we are feeling greatly energised after working during the week with the brilliant people and teams from the THORChain, Maya, and Rujira communities, and concluding the week with our second community gathering at BrewDog on Friday.
There were many valuable discussions and useful developments shared throughout the week, and we have listed the most important ones below!
- We tested the final bits during the week, and the Base Layer Virtualization strategy is now live on Mainnet!
- We have started with the TCY/BTC pair and will start rolling out the other pairs in the upcoming days and weeks.
- Good progress on Orbital Pools with @jvr0x, building cutting-edge tech for stablecoin liquidity. Javier is currently working on the final tests and gearing up for Stagenet.
- Highly synergistic merger with @NamiProtocol and @Nami_Index_, bringing Index and Earn products in-house, and expanding the team with two great talents and long-term ecosystem builders:
- JPNami, who will take a key role in leading growth and integration with partners
- Zefiro, who has already been instrumental in developing the Rujira API and supporting Hans on the smart contract front. - We have had a great discussion with @AaluxxMyth from @Maya_Protocol about them integrating with THORChain via IBC, expanding Rujira’s reach, and supporting chains such as Zcash, Arbitrum, Dash, and soon Cardano.
- The first bricks of Auto V2, the automation layer for Rujira, were tested live on Stagenet with @diablix666 from @AutoRujira.
- Further development of @LiquidyFinance’s swap router with @jandevman, enabling any-to-any token swaps with optimized routing powered by RUJI Trade order books, soon ready to be integrated into RUJI Swap.
- Launch of Recurring Orders from @CALC_Finance with @gdlmghty, which will allow the creation of all sorts of recurring swap strategies, and will be used for the $5m TCY acquisition program by the TC treasury.
- Good progress on the architecture for the upcoming RUJI Leagues contract, our 100% on-chain points competition allowing everyone to earn RUJI and USDC rewards based on the economic activity they generate on Rujira.
- Upgrade API architecture with a clear separation of read and write operations, improving overall performance and stability. This design enables global colocation to reduce response times and makes it easier for anyone to run their own instance for redundancy.
- Together with @AaluxxMyth, we have been discussing a plan for users to earn U.S. Treasury yield on their stablecoins on Rujira via @m0. The idea is to create a structure very similar to how a user would use a regular savings account at their bank, but decentralized. This will offer a new source of yield for the upcoming RUJI Earn product that will abstract away the complexity for users of having to allocate between various yield options.
