Rujira Weekly Recap 44: What’s New in Omnichain DeFi

⚡️bRUNE ready for audit

Good progress on bRUNE as it’s being tested on preview and is pending audit.

bRUNE will be a major upgrade, making the bonding experience much easier for everyday $RUNE holders, allowing them to bond their $RUNE in under a minute.

⚡️Deposit modal upgrade

We have made an important update to the UI for depositing USDC and USDT on Rujira.

Rujira uses the Ethereum versions of USDC and USDT as the primary ones. Users depositing from other chains are automatically swapped into the Ethereum version unless they opt out.

⚡️THORChain v3.12

We have a date for THORChain v3.12, which will land on Mainnet on 4/11.

It includes over 50 merge requests, covering Solana integration, rapid swaps, and the removal of outbound fees for secured assets, which is important for Liquidations and the Virtualization Strategy.

⚡️TVL Cap increased

Good news as nodes have voted to increase the TVL cap, creating room for new deposits of secured assets on the app layer.

This is an important step as RUJI Lending and Liquidations approach their Mainnet launch, where we will need plenty of space to support growth.

⚡️TON is coming

We have already been building and have integrated TonKeeper in preparation for the upcoming TON launch.

TON is another major chain added to our list of supported networks, opening up opportunities for deeper integration with Telegram applications and the broader ecosystem.

⚡️AutoClaimer is being tested

AutoRujira is testing the AutoClaimer, which allows automatic claiming of your orders on RUJI Trade once they are filled. This is a major UX upgrade for every trader.

⚡️Vultisig is live on Kraken

It has been a big week for Vultisig as their token went live, first for whitelist addresses on Uniswap and now on Kraken.

Vultisig is one of the most used wallets on Rujira, and we are excited to collaborate more in the future through deeper integrations.

⚡️THORChain Spaces with Redacted

DeFi with native assets is already a game changer, but with u/redacted_money we are adding another layer to it: privacy.
