RUNE Distribution Update

Overview

RUNE is held on two chains, with a total of ~12000 holders:

• BNB.RUNE (8811)
• ETH.RUNE (1345)
• Exchanges: estimated 1000–2000

The total engagement rate is ~40% — almost half of the known holdership is engaging in the ecosystem.

As for the supply, the engagement rate is:

• BNB.RUNE: 47m (20%)
• ETH.RUNE: 3.7m (~2%)

Roughly 22% of the supply is engaging in the network. With multichain launching soon, these figures should increase.

Of the 8811 BNB.RUNE holders, 4000 are participating in BEPSwap, with an engagement rate of 45%.

There are 8811 holders of BNB.RUNE, with 117m (50%) freely circulating. 45m reside in exchange wallets.

The Top 100 own 66m RUNE outside of THORChain vaults. This is 13% of max supply, or 28% of the circulating supply.

Of these, 19 could become Node Operators (have more than 1m RUNE).
