Weekly Dev Update #57

Summary

Testnet 5 has been stable so far, although some bugs have been patched, no bugs have ever been found on all 5 testnets that couldn’t be addressed via THORChain’s upgrade process. This has given the team confidence that the system is ready for Chaosnet.

Testnet 5–0.7.0

This update fixed a bug that caused a significant staker to lose funds during a churn event.

Testnet 5–0.7.1

This update fixed a consensus error from Binance Chain which caused Binance Chain observations to halt.

Midgard

Work continues to stabilise, increase performance and more. It is ready for Chaosnet.

BEPSwap

Some updates pushed to improve useability — BEPSwap frontend is ready for Chaosnet.

THORNode

Fixes, upgrades and work for multi-chain.

• Fix seeds testnet 5
• Resolve “[FIX] Undo stake if thornode fail to send out fund”
• Merge branch ‘591-issue’ into ‘testnet’
• avoid calculate current award for none active node
• Fix tools
• Resolve “[ADD] add ed25519 private key and pub key”
• Resolve “[FIX] Allow node operators to use multiple txs to bond”
• bump up version to 0.7.1

Midgard

Fixes, as well as a new endpoints for more optimised balance and pool data queries. Push pool depths to memory for faster returns.

• Merge “develop” to “master”

• Resolve “Implement “/history/pools” endpoint”

Work continues to prepare the client for Chaosnet.
