THORChain has completed its integration of the XRP Ledger, enabling native XRP swaps across any other chain supported by THORChain. Users can now swap XRP directly from their self-custody wallets to assets on Bitcoin, Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, Avalanche, DOGE, Cosmos Hub, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash without wrapping, bridging, or centralized custody.

What This Means

• Trust-minimised Swaps: Swap native XRP for other supported assets directly from your wallet, like Bitcoin, Ethereum, or USDT. Available in your favorite THORChain frontend.
• Liquidity Provision: Provide liquidity to earn yield on native XRP paired with RUNE.
• Arbitrage Opportunities: High frequency traders can utilize Trade Assets to arbitrage pool prices without paying native asset settlement fees

This integration unlocks over $100 billion of XRP liquidity into the DeFi ecosystem, connecting one of the most traded digital assets to THORChain’s decentralized liquidity network. Wallets and DEXs that use THORChain for liquidity will enable their users to access XRP liquidity seamlessly.
